Panic but be Prepared
Everybody was warning us to stay at home, due to very heavy rain and due to danger of more floods
Luckily it did not rain so much and even though the river was filled with water, and it was not accessible from side to side, we were not in danger.
I went for a walk twice
This is my second walk
I tried to capture the angry river and also some of the tremendous damages that are still visible in the houses near the river. You see that walls have been taken apart, destruction everywhere and still empty houses
There were many birds in the air trying to find fish and eat. It created a very scary scenery all over
But the part that most scared me was when I was trying to shoot a video and while I saw the wave coming to one meter away, suddenly the wave reached my feet.
I admit that I got very scared and I decided to come home immediately!
But before I go, just a couple of photos!
The sea was one with the river. It’s color was muddy like, and the waves were red.
The two cars that are still in the water, had been brought closer to the shore
Most of the rocky spots were covered with small stones, as if a new beach is made
I will anxiously wait for bluer, brighter days like this one!
