Some things that were captured close up...

A Close Encounter I love taking pictures of things that are close to me, but what is a close-up really? My definition of a close encounter is taking a photograph of something small yet so easy to overlook. When you see a photo of something this small, it can be rather surprising and refreshing. What I enjoy most about taking close-up snapshots is that they can offer you a different perspective of what you see daily. You might notice textures, patterns, or colors that you never really took notice to previously. In this shot, the close-up of this beautiful leaf is a perfect example. The leaf was fairly dried out and it was in a pile of leaves. I didn't really see this beautiful side.

These are some photos I took in at an event that happened recently.

Pineapples with lights around them create a tropical magical moment. A pineapples with lights around them is a great way to create a fun and magical look that makes for a perfect evening. When attending an outdoor party this summer, consider adding a light up pineapple This festive and fun decoration brings an inviting glow to any party. Guests will love that they can enjoy themselves and keep a close eye on their drink at the same time. The pineapple is perfect for bringing some tropical flair to your evening event. At night, the lights on the pineapple will create a stunning addition to the ambiance of the party. Guests will be drawn to the pineapple, which will serve as an excellent decoration too!!

Is it just me, or do glasses of wine creepily resemble landscapes on other planets? At first glance, the glass seems to be a void of clear nothingness. But on closer inspection, there are a myriad of colors and textures to be found! As my eyes wander around the curves of the glass, I see what resembles a riverbed of green gemstones flowing down to a meandering blue river. The glass exterior hides certain colors, just like the mountains will often block out the blue sky. With my olfactory senses awakened, I can now catch a scent of the wine, crisp and sweet. These multihued landscapes inside the glass are so beautiful and unique, they will lure me back for more and more

The first time I went to a carnival it was an absolute adventure! I absolutely loved everything about it and couldn’t get enough. I rode on the little ferris wheel, went on the tea cups, and of course, ate my weight in cotton candy. But there was something about the lights that made me feel like I was in wonderland. They were so beautiful and elegant; it’s hard to believe that they were lights in a funhouse. The sight of them as they danced on the ceiling brought me back to when I was younger and I grew up in a small town. I remember how every summer we would go to the carnival and have an absolute blast. It was my favorite time of year... these however were not a carnival, but in this backyard party that brought up memories of childhood.

Frosty cold margaritas are the perfect way to numb your mind after a long day of work. You can sip on these refreshing cocktails while listening to your favorite outdoor music or listening to the seagulls. SQAWWWWWKKKKKK <- like that.

A bartender's life is full of many different characters, with some less than flattering than others. Whether they are a cash cow, a pain in the neck, or a particularly picky customer, they all have their own stories and value. In the world of bartending, one of the less glamorous characters is bottles and mixers. Bottles and mixers are a necessary evil in the world of bartending. They are not usually the first to get asked for, and generally make less money for the bartender than other drinks. More often than not, they are left unfinished at the end of the night. However, they are also a necessary part of a well-rounded cocktail establishment. Right?
