Sunrise over Belougery Spire taken from the Grand High Tops of the Warrumbungles after night hike to reach this spot. First ascended by Eric Dark and Osmar White in 1932 the spire is is composed of peralkaline trachyte and was once part of a large shield volcano, that first erupted about 17 million years ago and stopped about 13 million years ago.
