The majestic Mount Assiniboine is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Range and sits on the British Columbia/Alberta border. It stands at an impressive 3618m (11870ft) elevation. It has been nicknamed the "Matterhorn of the Rockies".
Over the years we have done many multi-day hikes within the Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park and slept many nights under its watchful gaze. In the near future I will be writing some more detailed accounts of our hiking adventures there so keep an eye out for those posts. In the meantime you'll just have to enjoy this photo.
