Shine in the dark

Hello and Salam to everyone. Today I'd like to share a photo of a petrol station, the only one in Kundasang.

Let you know Kundasang is a hill station in the district of Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia, located along the bank of the Kundasang Valley within the Crocker Range and adjacent to the town of Pekan Nabalu. It is around 6 kilometres from Kinabalu National Park and 12 kilometres from Ranau town, and it is well-known for its vegetable market, which is open seven days a week. It provides a panoramic view of Mount Kinabalu and is the nearest town to it. It is primarily populated by native Dusun with a tiny Chinese community. Almost all of the shops are run by locals.

This photograph was taken a few years ago, when the world was still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and the situation was being closely monitored by the local administration. Given the movement control order and the fact that company operations are still constrained, the atmosphere is pretty gloomy at the time.

At this time, the weather was rainy all day and stopped for a while at night; the temperature was quite cold and foggy. I took the opportunity to go out and take pictures around the town, and I immortalised this picture of the petrol station as part of my photo collection.

I'm currently with my dear friend BB @bluekinabalu, however we didn't get an opportunity to capture any more pictures due to the bad weather.

So that's all I can share so far. I apologies if there is any false information or wording.

Please Help me to achive 20 followers by this week. and I am deeply honoured and appreciative for your assistance.

thank you..😊
