A Visual Journey in the Lap of Himalayan Blooms

What should I write about flowers? Thought a lot...thought a lot...thought so much that my mind went blank. Then I sat for a long time and when I could not understand, I thought that I will write about what was done to click the photos and then what technique was used to edit them.

So a few days ago I was in Himachal Pradesh which is also known as 'Devbhoomi'. There I was at my friend @naveen.jogta's house. We both had a lot of fun for 15 days. Sometimes climbed this mountain and sometimes climbed that mountain. I missed my camera a lot while traveling so much. Because on the last trip my camera was accidentally left in my friend's car. While going to an event, if you have 6 to 7 bags, it is possible that half of the bag may be left somewhere and you may not realize it. Something like this happened and my camera reached Chandigarh and I landed in Narkanda.

When everything seemed incomplete without the camera, I finally picked up Naveen's camera. I did not want to use Naveen's camera because there was dust on its sensor and it did not have a tele lens. I am very fond of close-up photos. After charging the camera the next day after the sun comes up, I go out in search of some great shots. There are many types of flowers around the house...I know the names of only one or half of them.

Well, keeping the name aside, let me tell you about their beauty. It is a Sony camera, which has an 18-55mm kit lens. Deciding to click photos in bright sunlight without filters and without ND filters, I start by wearing a warm cap on my head. After spending about an hour with flowers and camera, I drink tea.

Nothing tastes as good as hot tea in winter. That's all today because now the mind has gone blank again. I am going to write another post tomorrow in which I will tell a little more about the flowers and how I edited these photos. Until we meet tomorrow, don't forget to tell yourself “I am amazing”.
