Gorgeous Landscapes

The last post was about the oldest stranded steel ship in Iceland. If you missed it you can see the post here. Besides the ship, there were also some gorgeous views all over the place. The is located in the Westfjords of Iceland and the fjord name is Patreksfjordur. If you want to see the exact location then you can check into the ship post comments and look for pinmapple comment.
Alright, let's look at some photos.

The weather was calm and beautiful, the colors and contrast were amazing.

We wanted to go to the westernmost tip of Iceland also, Latrabjarg. Unfortunately, we had to cross one high-altitude area and the road was too snowy according to the live map. I did not want to risk it with our front-wheel-drive camper van with worn summer tires. Also, we were a bit short of time, still had a long way to drive. No worries though, we had already been there the first time we visited Iceland. I wanted to see the highest spot on the coastal cliff but let's hope for the next time then.

Here in the photo below, you can also see our tiny camper van we traveled with for almost 3 weeks.
