Last week I introduced you to the island of Kythnos, part of the Cyclades complex, at the Aegean sea, in Greece. In this post I talked about the biggest village and capital of the island. But there is more to it, much more!
Dryopida is a smaller settlement but pretty beautiful and calm like Messaria. It is located at the center of the island and it is a nice starting point to explore every part of the island!
Just out of the village you can see the remains of a few old windmills. They used to be a valuable tool for many generations but now they are just decaying attracting the photographer's eye.
But most of all Kythnos is known like the island with the 92 beaches! I didn't count them but I can assure you that you'll find one right after every curve of the road!
The small settlements on the edge of the water complete an ideal scenery for the most relaxing vacations you'll ever dream!
Thank you for reading and if you want to know more about me you can check out my introduction post.
