The Search is over! Finally found the Easter Bunny (Osterhase)!

At least in the german speaking population in Europe we have the "Osterhase" bringing and hiding the Eester Eggs for the children. I can still remember it was always very funny for me and my brothers and sisters to look for the Eggs and Sweets the Easterbunny was hiding in our garden every year. But I never saw the bunny hiding the easter eggs. :-) Finally, on my photography trip yesterday here in Upper Austria I was able to take some pictures of it :-)

In Germany there are 3 Post Offices answering Letters if you want to send a letter to the "Easter bunny" - "Osterhase".

The Easter Bunny (also called the Easter Rabbit or Easter Hare) is a folkloric figure and symbol of Easter, depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs at least here in the German-speaking part of Europe, but I read that even in the USA it is popular to bring the eggs on Easter Sunday.

I still don't know how he was able to distribute all the Eggs today to the children that believe in it, because yesterday he still seemed to not have a lot of stress. It was enjoying the last Sundays of the day while letting me and Stefan take several pictures of it.

Of course, it jumped around a little when we were coming closer, but it never actually fled from us, it only kept its distance, so it was comfortable to have enough space between us and the rabbit. Rabbits are one of the animals you can still see here very often in the wild along with deer and pheasants.
