When I don't do wildlife or landscape photography then I also like to do some night photography shots in Cities or Places with a nice light Situation. At the Prater in Vienna you can find a lot of inspiration for some longtime exposure shots at night and one evening some years ago I took several nice shots there together with Stefan, Brigitte and Annabelle. It was a pretty nice summer evening and I can still remember that there were a lot of people at the "Prater" celebrating or just enjoying the warm and nice weather.

Since there are a lot of interesting rides at the Vienna Prater Amusementpark and most of them have a lot of nice light effects in the evening. It is an interesting place for photographers who want to do some longtime exposure shots like these here. One thing that is a bit exhausting is that you have to constantly watch your camera and tripod so no one knocks it over. In this case it is a good strategy to go photographing together with friends so when one is taking some pictures the others watch and stop people from stumbling over your camera gear or the tripod.

We also visited this place at the freeway for some longtime exposure shots. This Place is near the OMV, Oil and Petroleum Refinery in Wien-Schwechat. The good thing about this place is that you have a very nice Bridge over the freeway and therefore have the best place for some nice light trails from the passing by cars. We chose this place because we wanted to do some lighttrail photography and also needed something for the foreground that is also interesting. We thought the OMV Industry can meet those expectations.
