Monochrome Life

Today I'm going to post some photos that may seem strange to many. I don't think I've done such a photo shoot before, if yes, then it may have been only once. There's a first time for everything, so today I'm going to show you my black and white rose photo shoot.

I said it may seem strange as we usually like flowers in their original colors, but I'm having problems taking good quality photos of red flowers in general. My mobile phone is just a mobile phone and settings are what they are. So instead of taking crappy red rose photos, I decided to experiment with the filters and do a monochrome photo shoot.

It's not red, but the details are still amazing.

There are three black and white filters available on my phone.

Same rose with the second filter. I tried to test both to see which one looks better, but I guess I'll leave you to decide as the two are very different.

And this is the original, color version. Feel free to pick one, two or all three, depending on which yo like.

I'm trying to get used to this filter but it looks like I'm not going to use it very often. The black part is ok but the white is just too bright for me.

I guess for better quality I would need a proper camera. I'm not really thrilled, honestly.
