while i was busy photographing all the amazing rust by the boathouse
my friends showed up ready to go out fishing in one of their boats.
i had been so preoccupied with everything on the ground that i hadn't noticed how lovely the evening had become.
the rust could wait. it will still be there in the morning
the skipper
it was threatening to rain but with a sky like this, bring it on.
my friend who we were visiting
and her brother who lives here
back east everything was looking sublimely idyllic
but to the north and west the drama was developing
for a short while it was as if behind the hillside had caught fire
the fish started biting so i was too busy catching pollock to take more shots. it started raining and turned dark so we headed home. but we will try again soon.
this is the seventh post in a series of photos i took in Leirfjord, Norway in the end of August.
