Gruništa, Mariovo

Gruništa is the name of the village near which is the smallest church with elements of the basilica I have ever seen.

Every time I go to visit the countryside, I become sadder and sadder because they are abandoned and more and more delighted with the beauty of nature in our surroundings. Gruništa is located in an area called Mariovo in southwestern Macedonia. And Mariovo is a wild, untamed nature rich in water, flora, fauna, and endless stories. It is located between the cities of Bitola, Prilep, and Kavadarci.
Many films have been made in that area.

View of the river "Crna Reka"(Black River). Black because of the greenery in whose shade it passes.

Abandoned houses. Some still stand the test of time, some are just ruins.

This door is about 130cm high, maybe less. It’s to bow your head as you walk inside.

A few more pictures of wildflowers and the road to civilization (or not)

Some people use words, others use light to say what they feel.
