A day on the farm....

This morning after I went to slimming world, we decided to go to Canon Hall Farm for breakfast, people living in the UK may know the farm from the TV programmes "Live On The Farm" & "Springtime On The Farm" on Channel 5, I'd been to the restaurant called "The White Bull", but I'd never been round the farm before.
I wasn't driving so as we were heading up there I thought I'll see how much the tickets were, they were only £4.95 per adult so I booked them there and then, just be aware that ticket prices do vary depending on time of year and weekends and weekdays etc.

(Baby Donkey)

I had to use the zoom lens for the above shot, but this was the cutest thing I'd ever seen, a proud Mum with her baby, the Crea had just been born this morning, I said to my girlfriend when we were there that it looked as if it was only a few hours old, as it was very wobbly on it's legs, it was so cute. We learned since that we were right and it was born today.

It was wonderful seeing all the animals, from rare breeds to animals that you are used to seeing, one thing they did have and I was surprised was an enclosure with red squirrels in, so next time I go, my camera is going with me.

(Spot the cat!)

(Soft shell turtle)

The farm has all sorts of stuff, from mammals houses, which includes hair covered armadillos, loads of different kinds of mice and other animals too, fantastic to see them all.

Overall we spent a lot longer in there than we thought we were going to, we went in around 11.15am and didn't come out until around 2.00pm, thoroughly enjoyable, and this time of year, there's baby animals galore.

As mentioned earlier in the post I didn't take my camera as this was a spur of the moment visit, however then next time I go, the camera will definitely be coming with me.

All picture shot using my Samsung S21 5G phone, far from the best camera, but as they say, the best camera is always the one you have on you.

I hope you've enjoyed reading about todays adventure...

All the best :-)
