Floods near my house...

Good afternoon Hive community,

A lot has happened since my last post 10 days ago. There was a Hivefest going on for the past couple of days. Hope all the participants enjoyed. Hopefully, the day when I will attend one will come as well. Too bad that organisers didn’t choose Ljubljana as a venue. But maybe they will some time in the future as our city is really beautiful and like a hidden gem so I would love to share it with our lovely community.
Well in between I went to the seaside with my family as well. We really had a great time! Just relaxing a bit. Taking it easy, no hurry. Talking, spending time together and laughing as much as possible. That is my recipe and this time it worked.
Our holiday ended just in time as we came back home in rain. And it was not just a rainy day, but couple of days of strong thunderstorms and non stop rain. Terrible weather. There was a new all time record set for most precipitation in a day. So at the morning we were swimming in the sea and enjoying sunshine, couple of hours later we were swimming in puddles, or even say newly created lakes. We are living at the edge of marsh, or how could I best describe it. So when there is heavy rain, it can get a bit ugly, or nice when it ends well for all. And I will show you just that today. After a bit of fear for a few days, sun came up. As they say, after every rain there comes the sun. That was also true in our case. So we went walking around and sure I had to take some photos.
It is hard for you to imagine how it is without all the water, but on normal day (99% of time) there are fields without any water standing. Well it ended well and now water level is already much smaller and we got some spectacular landscape!
We were joking with neighbours that we now own lakeside villas and our real estate value bumped due to exclusive location.

Enjoy the view from the safe distance.
