The Impossible Shot: PART III (Trying to get the perfect photograph of my dogs!!!)

2 (5).jpg

Good evening team, here is another batch of photographs from my on-going 5 year journey to achieve the perfect photograph of my two rescue dogs.

I exclusively use manual lenses, because I am a poor film maker and this is all I have haha, so really it is a personal goal if anything. This is because the task would be greatly simplified if I had access to a high speed auto-focus system, but that's not the point.

If anything, I love the failed batches more than the ones I manage to get a sharp focus. For example the odd framing and distortion of the image below makes Mr Sulley look like a fat Hamster.

After all it gets me out the house more, it gets the dogs out more and that can only be good for my mental health. Too much time these days are spent staring at charts, and not enough of the Arts.

The image above is not particularly a great capture but I find it sweet, wee paw on his best pals shoulder, as they both watch Squirrels jump in the distance.

And I will leave you with a Top 10 from my revels. I love this shot. I would of preferred Bella to be more to the left of frame, but regardless it captures the energy of them.

Have a nice day,
Stay Safe,
Cotton.
