Good Evening
It was another warm day in the UK today, I decided to once again go out on the motorcycle.
I decided that I wanted to explore someplace new someplace I haven't been, then Whitlingham county park came to mind.
Now this place is actually somewhat close about a 40-minute walk despite that I never visited the place until now.
To sum the place up it is A huge lake years ago it was A quarry The lake is surrounded by A trail that tours around the lake perfect for walkers, dog walkers and even cyclists. It also has A sports centre next to the lake for people to hire out kayaks and water equipment, People are sometimes spotted swimming here but they warn people not too because the waters are dangerous with it once being A quarry and many people have sadly lost their life here. ( I am unsure if it is illegal to swim here though) that being said they do occasionally host swimming events for open water swimmers to participate in however the thoroughly check the waters because toxic algae are sometimes found in these and nearby waters.
anyways onto what I captured...
Looking out towards the lake just behind some small trees.
an eerie quiet lake due to lockdown normally there would be A few kayakers on here even fishermen.
That didn't stop nature from coming out they still get to have their fun in A national lockdown no social distancing either 🤣
Incredible lake unfortunately my phone decided it would be A great time to die and unfortunately couldn't capture more. It was A fun walk the only regret was wearing a coat it was too hot.
