Good Evening everyone
Earlier today I went out on my motorcycle It ended up raining pretty heavy and was getting quite wet and slippery on the roads so I parked up in the city centre.
I planned to do some photography so I went and looked for some places to capture some and...
Elm Hill came to mind.
What is Elm Hill?
Elm Hill is in Norwich and is a historic cobbled lane with many buildings dating back to the Tudor period.
What is special about it other than being old and historic?
It has been A filming location for A couple of films in Hollywood not many but A couple most notably...
Stardust (2007) starring the iconic Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer lot's of filming was done on this small cobbled area of Norwich. stardust
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020 starring Forest Whitaker is another film shot here with most of the film actually being shot here. jingle jangle
there are a few other smaller movies and tv shows not too many but a couple.
So here is what I captured...
The cobbled ground and extremely narrow pavement its normally busy-ish but with all these buildings closed due to lockdown it is A ghost town.
as you can see the paths are extremely narrow and with hardly any space between the buildings and cobbles I did walk on the cobbles but they are A death trap in the rain extremely slippy especially as its slopes.
the buildings are incredible.
And that Is Elm Hill.
Thanks for reading today's post.
