The ancient theater in Plovdiv is the emblem of the city, it is the only preserved and still operating theater and open stage built in the 90s of the first century AD. On this stage were held from concerts to gladiatorial battles during the reign of the Romans. To this day, this stage is a desired place for many artists, musicians and singers for their performances and quite often there are concerts and performances.
