The ruins of the dam on the Bolshoi Kinel

IMG_6771.jpg

Samara region, Timashevo village area. Ruins of a dam on the Bolshoy Kinel River. Now this place is empty, but just a couple of weeks ago, all the begers here were occupied by tourists. Since the Samara region is located on a plain, then all the rivers here have a calm course, without rapids and rifts. And in this place it's just a paradise for kayakers. With the onset of heat, they occupy all parking lots along the banks of the river near the dam. There are competitions and just training.

4 In general, it is not known why they began to build this structure. Maybe it should be a bridge, since there are no bridges in the area, maybe a dam for the needs of agriculture. Now it is almost impossible to find information.
