HARVESTING CORN IN THE MIDDLE OF A HOT SUNNY DAY

Hello again fellow hivers! How are you?

Recently, our uncle invited us for a labor which is harvesting their corn.

There are 9 of us who did the job and we helped each other to finish the harvesting. My father said the area of the cornfield is 1 hectare, although the field is wide, we managed to finish the harvesting in just a day. The sun rays are like burning our skin especially in the afternoon so we had to wear hat or cap for the protection of our head from sun rays, and jacket for protecting our skin from the itchy small hairs from the corn. Work safe :)

While we are picking the corn from its plant, we had to put together the picked/harvested corns into the same space so that corns are organized. If that is organized, picking the corns and putting them together into a sack will be easier.

When the time is around 10 or 11 AM, we went under the shady tree to take a rest and eat snacks. We need that to rebuild our energy which has been lost since morning as we spent our time harvesting.

After we took a rest, we now had to go back on the cornfield to continue our unfinished task. Surely our energy boosted as we took a rest.

After the harvesting, after we harvested the whole cornfield, we had to put the harvested corns into a sack. We grouped with three members of each to make a quicker task. I am grouped with my grandmother and my uncle, and the rest groups are, my friend and her parents, and my classmate, her mother and my sister. Gladly, there are many things finished in just a day.

That's how my hand looks after the harvesting. Thankfully I wore gloves for protection.

My sister @joreneagustin also posted a content like this on her blog earlier and maybe ate jenzel will also post on her blog, they took more pictures than me. 😅

That's all for my blog today fellow hivers! Thank you for stopping by and have a good day/night.
