Hey guys
Here are a few interesting shots I took during the week while out wandering around a costal village called Lower Largo and the historic Royal Burgh of Falkland here in Fife on the East Coast of Scotland.
This house is decorated with some impressive nautical themed art.
Old boats turned into planters and decorated with sea shells and sea glass.
Some impressively designed garden gates...
Colourful planters surrounded by beautiful rock art.
The statue of Alexander Selkirk .A mariner who was marooned on and island for 4 years and 4 months in the early 1700s.His story was the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe.
More sea shell decorations :).
I found this rusty old gate down on the beach..
And this old ruin a little further along the coast..
In Falkland these Red Lions guard The Bruce Fountain in the centre of town.
This picturesque little walk way goes by a beautiful little Burnside cottage...
The owners of the Burnside cottage have a fence where they encourage people to paint a flower or a rainbow in honour of the NHS staff throughout the pandemic..
A few more shots taken while strolling along the burnside...
A handful of shots from the beautifully decorated Stables Cafe
Some shots taken in Falklands vast ancient woodlands...
Lastly some shots of Falkland Palace and some of the historic houses around the centre of Falkland.
