Beautiful belem on display at El Vasco shopping mall

Hi friends,

Isn't Christmas beautiful?

At this time of the year I like to go for a walk around the different cities that I visit during my business visits and it is true that the cities look much more beautiful than during the rest of the year.

Yesterday, after leaving the office of the company in the city of Oviedo (Asturias) I went to the other side of the city, where there is a large shopping center called El Vasco with the intention of doing some Christmas shopping and photographing the Christmas lights in this area of the city.

Once I parked in the mall, before doing the Christmas shopping, I equipped myself with my new camera (Sony Alpha 6000L) and first of all I took a picture of the Christmas lighting that welcomes the city of Oviedo (Photo 2).

After this photograph number 2, I took photograph number 3 of the Christmas tree in the shopping center. However, when I turned back to the road I saw that there was a sculpture consisting of a frame and a transparent glass called "Equilibrium and Transparency" that allowed me with some difficulty to find a perspective that would allow me to photograph most of the tree inside the frame and without being behind the transparent glass.

As it had rained hours before, when I was reading a plaque explaining the sculpture, I noticed that there was a small puddle on the cement support, so the next challenge was to capture a photograph of the tree reflected on the puddle where the Christmas tree could also be seen. It took me a few minutes to get a good focus.

Happy to have a photographic material worthy of presenting it in the #POBphotocontest I continued my purpose of doing some Christmas shopping inside the mall where I came across some curious pink Christmas trees and a spectacular Belém that I am sure you will also like the photographs.

Have a Merry Christmas and may your dreams come true.
