7Vidas
Rodrigo Bari photographed in Sao Paulo in 2018. The topic of light painting was completely new to my friend at the time and I had only had experience with it for a year. As always, the path is the goal and I got to know interesting people back then, with whom Rodrigo and I were able to spend a few enjoyable hours. I would like to show the results from these two sessions with the "7Vidas" motorcycle club here.
Rodrigo Bari 2018 in Sao Paulo fotografiert habe.

Ford Landau
A week after photographing Luiz's Honda, I was back in Mooca with my friend Rodrigo. This time Luis wanted to bring his old pickup.
When I arrived, the motorbike club, all of whom had already lined up, were celebrating in one of the old halls with beer and guitar music. The atmosphere in the dark hall, with music and singing, was simply indescribably beautiful. You don't get that every day!
Unfortunately, Luiz's old pickup didn't start. His Ford Landau, which was just as old, served as a replacement vehicle. When I saw the vehicle, a mafia scene immediately came to mind. The hall and the old roller shutter fit perfectly into the picture. The light painting should look a bit scary, I thought to myself. In addition, a light painting should be clearly visible. So I decided to show the bonnet transparent.
Because Rodrigo is a nice guy, he let me use his photo equipment. That saves luggage!
In addition, Rodrigo helped me with the lighting of the picture. That was quite a lot of running and hard work with a Ledlenser P7QC and a KLARUS XT11GT with foil!

Honda
At my request, Rodrigo and Luiz also brought me some buckets of water that we spread on the floor for the shoot to add more color to the scene. After the first shots were in the can and Luiz looked at the images on the display, he was so enthusiastic that I couldn't ask him to stand by his motorcycle. I illuminated the scene with the flashlight, so Luis wasn't allowed to move during the shot. I think he held his breath for two minutes. At least it didn't move a millimeter. I marked the yellow freestyle figures with a short tube on a KLARUS XT11GT that I had found somewhere. I illuminated the motorcycle with a Ledlenser P7QC. For the ambient light, Fabricio, another member of the "7Vidas" club, turns on the hall light for a few seconds. That was too dangerous for me. You can see the switch below in the "Location" chapter.

Yamaha
Here we came up with the idea of throwing the shadow of the Yamaha on the wall. An LEDLenser M7 with foil was used for this. I created the green-white curves with a self-made Lightblade on the KLARUS XT11GT with colored foil and an LEDLenser Mini.
