Hello lovely hivers, I'm glad to be releasing this informative post here to you all, This is actually a post I am taking my time to explain after a very long time of not talking about anything personal here on hive. I will try and make it a little anappy since the pictures will explain it all.
Few posts back, I talked about my travel to Dubai and beinin republic, I was still on the process of trying to fixe what I went there for when I got a mail from NYSC congratulating me of being among the Success ones of NYSC batch C stream one, that I have to report to camp in ebonyi state, a place called Afipko for three weeks of camping before serving my country Nigeria for a year. At that moment, I knew I was going to redeploy back to Abuja as I will not bare to stay in such environment for a whole year, I'm not saying the place is not nice, but for my own personal reasons and busineses purposes, I couldn't bare to accept it.
So I commence my journey, getting to Lagos, I lodge for the night and book GUO company buss to ebonyi state (abakaliki) the next day. my buss was ment to move at exactly 6:00 am in the morning but ended up leaving 6:34am which is totally normal for we Nigerian Because we always don't keep to time. I arrive abakaliki around 5:42pm and the journey was about 11 hours journey, and trust me it was stressful as hell, and I got to sleep a little in the long journey. getting to ebonyi state, I got directed by a friend I made on the journey "Blessing" she is from there and so it was a good one for me as she was ready to take me to a little bit comfortable hotel to pass the night before heading to Afipko where the camp is located.

Trust me it was actually my first time there and I wasn't even feeling like a total stranger as "Blessing" my new friend was there to help direct my every move, I got her contact, and she told the bolt guy the hotel location where I lodged that night. I was ment to commence to camp on Thursday but I was already at abonyi State on Tuesday so I had enough time to go do photocopies the next day and get myself prepared for the three weeks camping.
On getting to the hotel, I found out there prices was a little low so I didn't waist time to pay for the 12k room. when waiting for the order I made (food) because I was literally starving, I had to bring out my phone and take some pictures, the receptionist girl ask if I as scared, I told her I'm a writer and that I have cultivate the habit of taking pictures of every beat of interesting details. So I took few pictures from down the receptionist to up my room. The room was lacking some items but still I wasn't going to stay for long so I didn't bother them at all. I was just with few lodgages and that was cool as it added to my Successful journey of less stress compare to having lots of properties to travel with.
I took few pictures of the corridor and stairs as well, even though it wasn't that catchy in any ways.
Some beautiful art works I saw too and I didn't even waist time to take pictures of them, and it was a fulfilment for me as I got lots of information, I will write about my camp expirences too because it as something to do with this too.
The bed was not bad and sleeping was very comfortable in the hotel, as it is well said, when you have a goodnight rest, you have strength for the next daily activities as full energy is been charged into your system.
So I droped off my lodgages and starting preparing to go take my bath while waiting for the food I ordered, though what I ordered was just noodles because that was what I actually wanted to eat, I droped off my bags and took off the towel, soap etc while I brought out my shower cap to put on before bathing.
On getting Inside the bathroom, I found out every thing there was looking old a bit and it is totally understandable as every new thing gets old as time passes by, so it was one of such cases
After bathing, I decided to watch TV while waiting for my food, and at this point, I was already getting annoyed as it was taking too much time to deliver my food.
I couldn't focus so I had to open my window and take the outside view of the hotel environment while waiting for the food to arrive. and it wasn't that bad at all.
And finally guys, I heard a knock on the door, and bummm food was there, I was so much in a hurry to eat as I was so hungry to the call. the food wasn't looking good at all, but the taste was something else, it was sweet but still, the look matters. Alot was missing in the food parkaging, but I will leave that as you all can see how bad it looks already. I don't Wish to complain, but the needful Should have been done even not being asked for as I payed 3200 naira for the food you are seeing here, that is extra egg, well as I said earlier, I Wish not to complain so let's mover forward.
It is important to start a that there was a fire control just close the my room door and it is very intelligent of them to have such a brilliant idea of knowing the safety of their costumers.
Conclusively, the expirences was cool there, and I will advise you to give it a try if you find yourself around ebonyi state Abakaliki. compare to the hotel I lodge while coming back from camp days Ago, Vista sparkling hotel is actually cool, this other hotel is another experience on its own which I I'm definitely going to write about but for the main time, thanks for visiting my blog, I love you all for your support on my blogging lifestyle.
