Taking some photos after a while

I just looked, last time i posted about photography was 25 days ago. I did not use my camera for 20 day, that is a lot for me. But work, cold and all this craziness resulted in me not photographing.

Few days ago i got a call to go and take some family photos for a birthday. This period is crazy for me line of work but i kinda could not miss out, i wanted to take some photos, even if it is for a birthday event. Not really a fan of those stand here, click, next... shoots. And in the normal circumstances there would be a crazy party after that. crazy parties are fun to photograph :D

This was my first "job" with the new camera, and i never used flash with it. Even i know that everything will work fine i was a bit nervous about the new gear. Just not fully comfortable as with something that i used for years.

This was the scene. The biggest problem was that right behind me was a wall. So this was the furthest i could go back. So the 35mm would not really work to get the full scene. So i had to adapt my 18-35 crop sensor lens on a full frame camera. Good thing is that R6 has an option to change the sensor to a crop sensor in the software. You could probably just zoom in and crop in the edit and get the same result but the photos in the camera would have a heavy vignette.

Not so great thing about that is that you get less megapixels on a not that much megapixels sensor. But 15-16mpx is still enough for this.

In the end, not the best shoot that i got, but i am happy enough. At least a got to take some photos, and at the end of the day i will get some small amount that will be used to buy more crypto. And having money to buy more crypto i always a good thing.
