Ceramic Tableware has many advantages for serving food, including for food photography purposes. Since a long time ago, before I became a Food Blogger, I was a collector of ceramic mugs.

I love to write with a cup of coffee served in a nice ceramic cup.

Then when I was serious about pursuing the world of Food Blogger, I became more interested in collecting Ceramic Tableware. Usually, I choose a tableware collection that is plain in color without a pattern.

This time it's different, I chose to add to the Ceramic Tableware Set collection with colorful patterns. Come, follow me!

SHOPPING RAINBOW CERAMIC TABLEWARE SET

In my city, there are only less than 5 shopping centers. One of my favorite places is "Suzuya Plaza Binjai".

I shop for my monthly household needs here. Then I always check the tableware collection regularly. If there was a tableware collection I would buy it for sure.

This time I bought a rainbow tableware set collection. It's not completely set or sold in a package. Because they are sold per item.

There are several types from this rainbow tableware collection. There are plates, mugs, bowls, and cooking pots.

I decided to buy a small plate and a mug.

For a mug, I bought it for IDR 15,000 or around USD 1.

For a plate, I bought it for IDR 18,000 or around USD 1.2.

TRY TABLEWARES FOR FOOD PHOTO SESSION

A few days later I used the Ceramic Tableware Set that I had bought for my food photoshoot. Because the size of the ceramic plate that I bought includes a small dessert plate size, I decided to make snacks. I use it for a photoshoot of snacks and I use the mug for serving coffee.

I chose “Fried Tempeh” to be photographed using the rainbow ceramic plate.

The Process of Preparing Fried Tempeh

I'm sharing with you Behind The Scenes the shoot I did.

Here I have some simple and easy-to-make fried snacks.

At that time, I sliced the Tempeh into lengths but not too thin. Like a stick shape but a bit thick.

Then after finishing the Tempeh pieces, I soaked the Tempeh. I use a mixture of coriander powder, pepper, and salt for the marination mixture for Tempeh. I marinated them for several hours that time.

Then the final step, fry the marinated tempeh until golden brown.

After I lifted the fried tempeh, I let them sit for a while so that the oil didn't stick to the tempeh anymore.

FOOD PHOTO SHOOT RESULTS

At the shooting stage, I chose a pastel solid background. In serving the Tempeh, I kept it as simple as possible because the plate already had a pattern.

I added mint leaves to remove the boring impression on the Tempeh texture.

A cup of black coffee is enough to add a more interesting photoshoot session.

So far, I like the Rainbow Ceramic Tableware Set which has a colorful and cheerful feel. It is suitable for the simple serving of foods and drinks.

What do you think of the Rainbow Ceramic Tableware Set that is a new addition to my kitchen collection?

Thanks for reading!
