Macro Photography Session | Ready to Bloom

COVER.jpg

Hello everybody :)

Ready to Bloom is the title of the session i present today.
I have some specimens in the box that are already starting to lose the vivacity with which they were collected, and so i decided to rush the detailed visual recording of them, but in a joint way, mixing species, working different perspectives that allow me to obtain the best possible results, then to take several shots and experiment with different combinations, focal lengths, lens aperture, changing ISO, etc.
Upon obtaining the records, i concluded that this was the ideal time to use them in this session, as one of them, in this case the branch with the small buds that would be ready to flower, already has a type of fungus that is slowly consuming it, and that type of acorn, very similar to the one i used in one of the previous articles, having captured something similar at a different stage, is also ready to flower, this stage being the origin of the title of this session.
Looking at the visual variety i obtained, it is possible to conclude that in such a small area it will always be possible to obtain such disparate results, when the operation is carried out on a macro scale.
Below i present the central topic of the session:

Before moving onto the result...
  • My introductory thoughts about macro photography:

It's amazing how macros with their blurred background can result in such different images full of contrasts and textures especially with this kind of subjects.
In the world of photography, especially macro photography, there is a universe of things available to everyone, enabling totally different and original approaches.

Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.

Let's now move onto the result:
