Incredible day of shooting in the rain | 15 rolls - Day 14

What a crazy day 14 was! I got to the town at the perfect time as the light rain was just starting to fall. Whoever follows me for a while knows how much I love to shoot in the rain. And when it's a warm, summer rain, it's a feeling like no other.

I was so excited that I kept walking and shooting without umbrella even when it started to pour down. You can see in the selfie as I was taking a break how drenched I was. It was worth it though as I ended up with some incredibly satisfying captures.

The first photo is my favorite of the day. While everyone was waiting under the shelter, this little boy walked in the open street and stood there soaking in the rain bouncing around him. What a juxtaposition to the girl in the next image. :)

As I was editing the photos I purposefully dialed down the shadows and made it more contrasty and also played with some red/blue tints in the shadows to give them a cinematic look. Ended up with a nice preset that worked with all photos and that I'll save for later.

Rainy days are perfect for street photography. Which one is your favorite?

This challenge is designed to push me to shoot more, think more about what I'm shooting and also to start posting more regularly. It's supposed to imitate shooting a film camera, 1 roll each day and posting the results. Recently I shot a roll of Kodak film and it inspired me to bring this series back. Here are the general guidelines:

- Create up to 36 photographs each day
- Select and post at least 10 photographs
- Don't look at images on the LCD screen
