I'm a fan of artificial lights, but nothing compares to natural light at golden hour. Of course it can be simulated under controlled conditions, but the magic is not there. The spirit of the day dies progressively and spreads its colors everywhere: contrasts are increased, textures are highlighted, tones become pleasantly warm. We were in an abandoned basement, Emely and I, taking some photos taking advantage of the decaying space, but we came to the surface as soon as we saw that the day was ending. I was able to take several photos of her, as always, for and against the light, and I think she turned out well in any of the scenarios. What do you think?
Soy un fan de las luces artificiales, pero nada se compara a la luz natural a la hora dorada. Por supuesto que se puede simular en condiciones controladas, pero la magia no está ahí. El espíritu del día muere progresivamente y se riega con sus colores por todos lados: se aumentan los contrastes, las texturas se resaltan, los tonos se vuelven agradablemente cálidos. Estábamos en un sótano abandonado, Emely y yo, haciendo algunas fotos aprovechando el espacio en decadencia, pero salimos a la superficie en cuanto vimos que el día se acababa. Pude hacerle varias fotos, como siempre, a favor y en contra de la luz, y pienso que ella quedó bien en cualquiera de los escenarios. Qué creen?
