The life of a minimalist is very simple but practicing minimalism is not so easy for many people and most of the people in the current time have no mentality to practice minimalism. As I said they love simplicity but it's the most difficult task for many people. Although there are many rules to be a minimalist but the 5 you mentioned are enough to identify a minimalist.
