Esta canción fue compuesta por James Horner y Will Jennings. El primero es junto a Jerry Goldsmith y John Williams, mis compositores de bandas sonoras de películas favoritos. La letra de la canción es muy romántica, habla de una relación a distancia, de los recuerdos cuando estaban juntos y de la huella que ha dejado en su corazón. Como algunos sabrán, el Titanic es uno de los mayores naufragios de la historia, donde muchas personas perdieron a sus seres queridos. En ese contexto, la muerte es una separación física, pero no es completa, ya que podemos recordar a aquellas personas y llevarlos en nuestro corazón. Les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta. This song was composed by James Horner and Will Jennings. The first is with Jerry Goldsmith and John Williams, my favorite movie score composers. The song's lyrics are very romantic, it talks about a long-distance relationship, the memories of when they were together, and the mark it has left on her heart. As some may know, the Titanic is one of the biggest shipwrecks in history, where many peolostved ones. In this context, death is a physical separation, but it is not complete, since we can remember those people and carry them in our hearts. I share my interpretation with the trumpet. Una de las curiosidades que siempre me ha llamado la atención son mis orígenes. Desde niño siempre he preguntado por mis antepasados y las cosas que ellos vivieron. Me encanta la investigación genealógica y la historia de mi familia. Tengo algunas conexiones con personas que lucharon en la Guerra Federal e incluso algunas artísticas como el Pintor Arturo Michelena. Algunas anécdotas de mi tatarabuela, quien siempre llevaba un revolver encima, y en una ocasión un asno le comió la ropa que tenía secando y le disparo al animal. Aparentemente, el dueño fue a reclamar, pero ella no se dejó intimidar. Eso ocurrió en el contexto de la Guerra. Conocer sus historias crean una conexión maravillosa. Y aunque a muchos no los conocí, los llevo guardado en mi corazón. Saber de donde vengo, ha creado un cimiento fuerte en mi vida, y me brinda una perspectiva más amplia de quien soy, y hacia donde me dirijo.

One of the curiosities that has always caught my attention is my origins. Since I was a child I have always asked about my ancestors and the things they experienced. I love genealogy research and my family history. I have some connections with people who fought in the Federal War and even some artistic ones like the painter Arturo Michelena. Some anecdotes about my great-great-grandmother, who always carried a revolver on top of him, and on one occasion a donkey ate the clothes that he had drying and shot the animal. Apparently, the owner went to complain, but she was not intimidated. That happened in the context of the war. Knowing her stories creates a wonderful connection. And although I did not know many of them, I have kept them in my heart. Knowing where I come from has created a strong foundation in my life, and gives me a broader perspective of who I am, and where I am going.
