Today I will be planting my Cucumber Seeds, and I'm quite excited. Before planting of the cucumber seeds, several activities had taken place like clearing , tilling and ridging. ![img_0.9685653667729807.jpg](https://images.ecency.com/DQmQLjnBHYzSsAkN9rnrNwzusjpMnvZxDUc2tuNfQiz8jbN/img_0.9685653667729807.jpg) After tilling, the next activity was installing the irrigation system. Irrigation is very essential in morden day agriculture, cause we can't be dependent on rainfall to water our crops. There are different method of irrigating our crops, we have the sprinkler irrigation, drip irrigation, flood irrigation etc. For our project we used drip irrigation. Although it is quite expensive but it is the best form of irrigating because it supplies water to the plant were it is needed the most , which is the root zone.
