Although in this post we will only try to explain what the life of a professional is like, since music was never a hobby for me haha.
Well, when you start in music and you already decide to become a professional, we usually dedicate a lot of time to the instrument, to music theory, to reading, to the study of harmony, to face-to-face classes in the conservatory or with the teacher guide of our instrument, perhaps an average of between 7 or 8 hours a day I devoted the first two years to the instrument in this music roll.
Yes! It is the same or stronger than a sport, although with the passage of time you realize that it is not necessary to practice so much time, but to make your practice effective and it will reduce the time, but yes! At the beginning, the study hours are long, you are self-conscious about many things, perhaps going to the movies, or going to eat ice cream with a friend, perhaps and most likely you don't want to have a girlfriend because you're busy with your instrument.
As time goes by, people begin to see your talent, and they begin to give you compliments that really inspire you to continue improving, they invite you to a rehearsal, or to share with other musicians, and thus you begin to enter that world climate. musical.
Until you get into a band, and this is where it all lies, and the answer to the question that a lot of people ask themselves: Do all musicians lead a Rockstar life? The truth is not entirely, it is not how they paint it in the film, and everything will depend on the level of your band, both in advertising, as in connections, its position in the industry and many things, your life will depend on it.
That is, if your band is well positioned in the industry or is very popular in your country, then surely you have a life like the one they paint in the movies or very similar in what sense? Well, if you have a protocol team at the show, someone to pass you the drink, the water, the tea or whatever you have asked to drink while you play, you will have someone to pass you your instrument, surely many girls who after the show They will want a photo with you, a drink with you, or something more than that, the rumba night after the show is not going to be missing, maybe drugs either (Depending on how murky the environment is), there if you will be a Rockstar.
And it is that everything lies there, in the connection of the group's management, because now, if you play with a local group, an average group, surely you will do shows, in nightclubs in your city, then you will go out to eat a pizza with your friends, a beer and go to sleep.
Or maybe if your group does not have that connection, then you will play and then you will go to sleep without a peso in your pocket, everything varies! Not everything is as they paint it.
I have had the opportunity that in a certain way and thank God I have been able to live the music allied with people who were positioned at a good level, perhaps not the highest but yes.
I traveled a lot, almost every weekend for a year, I got to know a large part of my country, many hotels, gastronomy from different regions, I met many people, the money paid for your tastes and your luxuries, and to think that I lived this with a Christian group.
Some time later, I began to play with an old friend, and we created a Latin music group but in a reduced format of musicians or members, we undoubtedly started it in the city, at that time I had a lot of nightlife, the life that perhaps many would want. .
At the end of it all, you realize that none of that can fill you more than God, so when you reach that maturity, and you hear that a party is going to be thrown after the show, you simply start your car, go eat a hamburger, and then you go home to rest.
Everything is a matter of overcoming stages, there those who remain stagnant in that life.
But yes, basically life as it is depicted in the movies is only possible if there are good connections, if not good connections, you will simply have a different musician life, perhaps you will have time to study a lot more, perhaps you decide to be a recording musician (Whose life is different). Yes! You would simply lead another life. And it is not that one life is better than the other, NO! They are just different, and the best thing is that we can all enjoy both in their own time!

Buenos días, espero que todo el que lea este post esté muy bien y que tenga un excelente día, hoy vamos a tratar de aclarar un punto bastante confuso y es sobre como realmente es la vida de un músico.
Comencemos:
Realmente todo va a depender de que tan enserio la persona se tome la música, si! Así como lees, no es la misma vida que tiene alguien que solo hace música por hobbie, a alguien que la quiere llevar a nivel profesional. Aunque en este post solo trataremos de explicar cómo es la vida de un profesional, puesto que la música para mi nunca fue un pasatiempo jaja.
Pues, cuando comienzas en la música y ya decides hacerte profesional, solemos dedicarle muchísimo tiempo al instrumento, a la teoría musical, a la lectura, al estudio de la armonía, a clases presenciales en el conservatorio o con el profesor guía de nuestro instrumento, quizás un promedio de entre 7 u 8 horas al día le dedicaba yo al instrumento los primeros dos años en este rollo de la música.
Si! Es igual o más fuerte que un deporte, aunque con el paso del tiempo te das cuenta que no es necesario tanto tiempo de práctica, sino hacer que tu práctica sea efectiva y reducirá el tiempo, pero si! Al principio son extensas las horas de estudio, te cohibes de muchas cosas, quizás de ir al cine, o ir a comer un helado con un amigo, quizás y muy probablemente no quieras tener novia porque estas afanado con tu instrumento.
Luego que va pasando el tiempo, comienza gente a ver tu talento, y comenzan a hacerte cumplidos que realmente te inspiran a seguir mejorando, te invitan a un ensayo, o a un compartir con otros músicos, y así comienzas a entrar en ese clima de mundo musical.
Hasta que entres a una banda, y aquí es donde radica todo, y la respuesta a la pregunta que mucha gente se hace ¿Todos los músicos llevan una vida de Rockstar? La verdad no del todo, no es como lo pintan en la película, y todo va a depender del nivel que tenga tu banda, tanto en publicidad, como en conexiones, su puesto en la industria y muchas cosas, tu vida va a depender de ello.
Es decir que si tu banda está bien posicionada en la industria o es muy sonada en tu país, pues seguramente tengas una vida como la que pintan en las películas o muy similar en que sentido? Pues de tener un equipo de protocolo en el show, alguien que te pase el trago, el agua, el te o lo que sea que hayas pedido para tomar mientras tocas, tendrás alguien que te pase tu instrumento, seguramente muchas chicas que después del show querrán una foto contigo, un trago contigo, o algo más que eso, la noche de rumba después del show no te va a faltar, quizás las drogas tampoco(Dependiendo que tan turbio sea el ambiente), ahí si serás un Rockstar.
Y es que todo radica ahí, en la conexión de la gerencia del grupo, porque ahora, si tocas con un grupo local, un grupo promedio, seguramente harás shows, en discotecas de tu ciudad, luego saldrás a comerte una pizza con tus amigos, una cerveza y ya a dormir.
O quizás si tu grupo no tiene esa conexión, pues tocaras y luego te irás a dormir sin un peso en el bolsillo, todo varia! No todo es como lo pintan.
Yo he tenido la oportunidad que de cierta manera y gracias a Dios he podido vivir la música aliado de personas que estaban posicionadas en un buen nivel, quizás no el más alto pero si.
Viaje muchísimo, casi todos los fines de semanas por un año, conocí gran parte de mi país, muchos hoteles, gastronomía de las diferentes regiones, conocí mucha gente, el dinero te rendía para tus gustos y tus lujos, y pensar que esto lo viví con un grupo Cristiano.
Tiempo después, comencé a tocar con un viejo amigo, y creamos un grupo de música latina pero en un formato de músicos o integrantes reducido, sin duda la partimos en la ciudad, en ese momento tuve mucha vida nocturna, la vida que quizás muchos querrían.
Al final de todo te das cuenta que nada de eso te puede llenar más que Dios, así que cuando alcanzas esas madurez, y escuchas que se va a armar una fiesta después del show, sencillamente prendes tu auto, vas te comes una hamburguesa, y luego te vas a casa a descansar.
Todo es cuestión de superar etapas, ahí quienes se quedan estancados en esa vida.
Pero si, básicamente la vida como la pintan en las películas solo es posible si existen buenas conexiones, sino existen buenas conexiones, sencillamente tendrás una vida de músico diferente, quizás te de tiempo de estudiar mucho mas, quizás decidas ser músico de grabación(Cuya vida es diferente). si! Sencillamente llevarías otra vida. Y no se trata de que una vida sea mejor que la otra, NO! solo son diferentes, y lo mejor es que todos podamos en su tiempo disfrutar de las dos!
