Three Tunes Tuesday: Smooth and Groovy

Hello, again Hive Music 🎶 Lovers. It’s another wonderful Tuesday where I get to take you guys into the recesses of my mind through music. It’s often said that the kind of music a person listens to has a way of telling you about that person’s personality or the kind of things that move the person. To be honest, I don’t know if anyone said that but you get the idea. Hehe.

Let’s not forget to give a shoutout to our very own @ablaze, who originated this wonderful movement.

I wouldn’t say that I’m heartbroken or I’m in a vulnerable time of my life per se, but the past week has found me listening to deep, emotional songs. I’ve already mentioned my undying love for RnB and any song whose rhythm or beat relates to it. So today, I will be sharing with you three of the songs that I’ve been vibing with, not mainly for the lyrics, of course, but that special RnB vibe that just makes you bob your head to the music.

First,

Loving You Girl by Peder Elias ft Hkeem

This beautiful song was released as a single on the 14th of May, 2021. I only heard it at the beginning of 2022 though and I binged on it for about a week. I was careful not to listen to it too much so I won’t grow weary of the song, but no matter how many times I listened to it, I never got tired of it. The smoothness of the rhythm just runs down your spine. It’s an exciting time, to say the least.

Next on the list is,

Baby Powder by Jenevieve

I heard this song first as background music on an IG live of one of my celebrity crushes. I’d never heard it before. But as soon as I heard the bit, I stylishly Shazamed the song and I didn’t regret it one bit. It was released on the 25th of March, 2020 and it’s one of those songs you listen to on late, sultry nights. Personally, if I just want to relax or take a walk, it’s my go-to jam. Very calm and soothing, it’s sure to give you a thrill.

And last but not least,

Tiptoeing by Hope Tala

This song, released on the 21st of October, 2021 is one of my favourite songs. I’m the kind of person that keeps my Shazam app ready when I’m set to watch a film. And I pay attention to background music a lot. So when this song came on the playlist of Wedding Season, an Indian-American movie, I fell in love with it and downloaded it immediately. It also has a smooth vibe you could listen to while relaxing on the beach or even while reading a book. It’s sweet and is sure to leave you smiling, at the very least.

I hope you all enjoyed these songs and I would appreciate feedback too. Looking forward to the next week. Till then, remain happy.❤️
