¿Como están hiverbrothers? el día de hoy le toca un homenaje a un increíble profesor de música quien me/nos enseño como encontrar y demostrar nuestro profesionalismo en el mundo artístico, increíble músico, artista y persona.
How are hiverbrothers? today is a tribute to an incredible music teacher who taught me/us how to find and demonstrate our professionalism in the artistic world, incredible musician, artist and person.
El maestro/profesor Gilberto Bermudez era quien dirigía al grupo de Rock San Antonio en el cual tengo la dicha de ser participe y en el cual inicie de mejor manera mi camino como músico. Quiero otorgarle de esta manera simbolica el premio a el "Profesor mas original".
The maestro/professor Gilberto Bermudez was the leader of the Rock San Antonio group in which I have the joy of being a member and in which I started my way as a musician. I want to award him in this symbolic way the prize for the "Most Original Teacher".
La principal razón son sus ejemplos al momento de hacernos reconocer el valor que tenia el sonido en la letra de alguna canción ya que la música siempre cuenta una historia distinta. El ver las cosas así por primera vez simplemente maravillo, inspiro y abrió mi mente para ampliar. Un ejemplo que aun no olvido es cuando estábamos montando la canción de Cerati "Lago en el cielo" (diria que es mi canción favorita de este artista), Gilberto nos explico los matices de la canción dándole sentido a lo que significaba la canción para el con la frase "Vamos despacio, para encontrarnos" haciendo referencia a su hija que para ese entonces vivía en Canadá, también menciono que el final de esta pieza es la llegada a ese lago en el cielo es la explosión de toda la emoción transmitida durante esos primeros minutos... Después de esto la canción simplemente sonó perfecta.
The main reason is his examples when he made us recognize the value of the sound in the lyrics of a song, because music always tells a different story. After this the song just sounded perfect.
También nos enseño que la puesta en escena es una de las cosas mas importantes como artistas porque ahi es donde se puede cautivar en verdad a una audiencia, nos dijo claramente "Todo lo que esta en escena tiene que estar ensayado" consejo que jamas se me va a olvidar y que he puesto en practica con buenos resultados.
He also taught us that staging is one of the most important things as artists because that is where you can really captivate an audience, he clearly told us "Everything on stage has to be rehearsed" advice that I will never forget and that I have put into practice with good results.
Hubieron momentos de molestias y regaños necesarios por subestimar algunas canciones y no ensayarlas lo suficiente antes de reunirnos a practicar, esto también cambio mi switch y desde ese instante me tome el tiempo para practicar lo suficiente antes de cada ensayo y llegar lo mas pulido en los temas que me fuese posible.
There were moments of annoyances and necessary scoldings for underestimating some songs and not rehearsing them enough before meeting to practice, this also changed my switch and from that moment I took the time to practice enough before each rehearsal and arrive as polished in the songs as possible.
