After getting to know Ulcerate and hearing this album, I was very angry with myself for not being familiar with this music until now and how I had lost such a jewel so far. for several years now, I have been turning to extreme metal because of its great potential in presenting creative and artistic music. this trend started for me from more popular metals to extreme metal with Isis. the band that impressed me a lot by creating very sensitive and deep spaces in a dark and heavy structure and easily became one of my favorite bands and I am very, very happy that the turning point of this development coincided with this year for me. this is a super human and amazing album by Ulcerate called "Stare Into Death And Be Still"

This was without a doubt the strongest and best album I've heard in 2020. and be sure that at the end of this year, in the various lists and charts, everyone will mention the name of this album.
Technical, dark, deep, stormy, atmospheric and beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. this album is extremely beautiful. after listening to this album almost six times, I became curious to listen to the previous albums of this New Zealand band to get a good perspective of the discography and the general growth trend of this band. this album is definitely their best work. but the previous albums were also very technical and strong, but Ulcerate in this album continues to recreate new sentences and spaces of Extreme Metal and Death Metal much more mature and has caused their hands to be more open in writing songs and their music. now it has a much deeper emotional aspect and keeps you constantly focused and affected in such a way that the concept of time becomes foreign to you.
