Dance Weekend | Sunday Evening Dance Off Session

HELLO READERS!

Good Evening Everybody and welcome in the Sunday Evening Dance Off Session. Its very important to take care about our mental and body condition, especially now, during lockdown 2.0. We know that its late, its Sunday, I'm just a fox and shouldn't give humans any commands but unfortunately somebody has to take care about your health and force you shake those old bones. There is difficult for a better music than good old synth-pop vibes mixed with new wave at this moment, especially trying to catch in the same time meaning of #danceweekend and #metalweekend. Is it only me or pinch of melancholy and darkness contrasted with juicy guitars and catchy, rhythmical percussion sounds actually really much better than a personal trainer constantly screaming about one more repeat? If you also think the same way, say welcome to the Fitfoxes Dance Sessions, almost quarter of an hour with the recently digged oldies but goldies.

Tones on Tail - Performance

Psychedelic Gothic post-punk band from the first part of 80's and their really twisted track Performance recorded in 1984 is a quite unexpected but very energetic guitar-o-electro start of our exercises. Their style was described by critics as doom-and-dance-pop. Tones On Tail grown as a side project of famous British rock band Bauhaus, focused more on experiments with new sounds and styles. Experimented well!

Spiritual Sky - Sky My House Band (Écoutez Et Répétez)

Spiritual Sky is an effect of a one-time meeting of Sylvestre Vanuxem and Patrice Catteau in 1989. This gem went directly to the EPIC label. Couldn't choose better name for their timeless banger. First of those guys continued his carrier in Buzz for many years while second one disappeared from the music scene quietly after few years. Classical onetimer. There are tracks that do not need any introductions or descriptions, one of those tracks is definitely Sky My House.

Dusty Idols - Magnis Itineribus

Cunningly held to the end, track from the Dusty Idols, our pearl of the evening. It sounds like something completely dope from the outer rings of new wave released somewhere in the early 90's but videoclip for this track can suggest even much earlier years. In fact Magnis Itineribus was released on limited edition cassette via Berlin-based label Detriti Records in 2018 and remastered vinyl edition catalogued as [DR-022] came out on 19th November 2020!! Still available here! or https://www.detritirecords.shop/

As you were kindly ask for consideration newest three tracks from Shed as a good starter of this weekend, please take those three tracks as a weekend closer tunes. As always feel free to drop a comment with your opinions about them.
