Quiero compartir con ustedes este cover de la canción "Mi Testimonio" de Elevation Worship que pude tocar con la guitarra a pesar de que no domino el instrumento pero creo que he logrado un buen resultado que espero les agrade, esta es mi participación en esta segunda ronda (semana) del Hive Music Festival, quise unirme la semana pasada pero me enteré muy tarde, lo bueno es que ahora puedo unirme.
I want to share with you this cover of the song "Mi Testimony" by Elevation Worship that I was able to play with the guitar even though I don't master the instrument but I think I have achieved a good result that I hope you like, this is my participation in this second round (week) of the Hive Music Festival, I wanted to join last week but I found out too late, the good thing is that now I can join.
Muchos se preguntarán porque seleccioné este tema y es que en realidad me fascina lo que expresa la composición, y es que cuando Dios llega a tu vida ¡todo cambia! y pasas a ser un testimonio vivo de que Dios es real, claro esto sucede para aquellos que lo conocen realmente ya que muchos dicen conocerlo pero con su forma de andar en la vida demuestran todo lo contrario ¡Atención no estoy juzgando! pero es la verdad.
Many will wonder why I selected this theme and it is that in reality I am fascinated by what the composition expresses, and that is that when God comes into your life, everything changes! and you become a living testimony that God is real, of course this happens for those who really know him since many say they know him but with their way of walking in life they show the opposite. Attention, I am not judging! but it is the truth.
A lo largo de nuestra vida nos toca enfrentarnos a situación que podrían dañar nuestro testimonio por ello debemos caminar en integridad y mantenernos firmes ante cualquier circunstancia, esta canción me hace pensar en el sentido de lo que soy pero también en como puedo mostrarle al mundo que Dios esta vivo y nos esta llamando a su encuentro. Me encantan las canciones de Elevation Worship ya que son netamente adoración.
Throughout our lives we have to face situations that could damage our testimony, therefore we must walk with integrity and stand firm in any circumstance, this song makes me think about the meaning of who I am but also about how I can show the world that God is alive and is calling us to meet him. I love the songs on Elevation Worship as they are pure worship.
Durante la grabación me equivoqué varias veces e incluso me empezaron a doler los dedos ya que las cuerdas de la guitarra son nuevas y llevaba rato sin tocar unos acordes, al final tuve que grabar al finalizar el día y así obtener el resultado correcto, puede que no sea perfecto pero he logrado cantar y tocar al mismo tiempo esta melodía llena de ritmo.
During the recording I made mistakes several times and my fingers even started to hurt because the guitar strings are new and I hadn't played some chords for a long time, in the end I had to record at the end of the day and thus get the correct result, maybe may not be perfect but I managed to sing and play this rhythmic melody at the same time.
