Neverland was a personal one for me
The whole project came about from completely new experimentation, I always try do this with each and every new EP/Project I make, Starlite was a just a foot in the door so to speak just a little play with some beats and classic chords but with neverland it was the first time I made something that I actually wanted to make - from scratch.
This one again was made on ableton and was a real turning point for me in terms of the creation process and am glad I saw it through to the end even It did take months to finish. :S
I decided a long time ago that with each project I do for the first year of its release I would donate half of the proceeds to charity (which at this stage is not alot) , and when I was born I was treated at an amazing neonatal care centre in Southampton that I knew for "Neverland" I wanted to dedicate it to for without them I would not be here today.
There are some hidden samples throughout that I snuck in as an ode to my childhood and wanted it to be as airy and floaty as possible to represent what was and what could be and what almost wasn't..
Now I get that may sound morbid but to me its a representation of that quantum fluctuation now stuck in a audio state and is forever as long as there is a copy of it out there somewhere. Just like how this blockchain is! One of the first things that actually got me into crypto all those years ago.
A little less experimental and more just deep house dub goodiness :)
