( EN / DE ) Depeche Mode has accompanied me and my musical life for a very long time. Even before they had their really big breakthrough, I was already a fan. Depeche Mode was painted on my Vespa and on this top on the photo from 1986, Depeche Mode was written in big letters on the back. Self-made, of course. You didn't have the internet, so you had a lot of time to be creative and listen to music. Well, what you do when you're young, right?
Depeche Mode begleitet mich und mein Musikleben schon sehr lange. Noch bevor sie ihren wirklich großen Durchbruch hatten war ich schon ein Fan. Depeche Mode stand auf meine Vespa gemalt und auch auf diesem Oberteil auf dem Foto aus dem Jahr 1986 war auf den Rücken in großen Buchstaben Depeche Mode geschrieben. Selbstgemacht natürlich. Man hatte ja kein Internet, somit viel Zeit um kreativ zu sein und Musik zu hören. Naja, was man eben so mach wenn man jung ist oder?

Es gibt jede Menge fantastische Depeche Mode Songs, für diesen #ttt habe ich mich für drei entschieden, die mir besonders gut gefallen.
TTT1 - Leave in Silence
I mentioned the other day that I don't know where some of the LPs on my shelf come from, remember? Well, this time it's the other way round. I'm absolutely sure that the Depeche Mode album "A Broken Frame" was mine. But in the course of 7 moves and 3 long-term relationships, it seems to have got lost somewhere.
Ich hatte letztens erwähnt, dass ich nicht weiß woher manche LPs in meinem Regal kommen, erinnert ihr euch? Nun, diesmal ist es umgekehrt. Ich bin mir absolut sicher, dass ich das Depeche Mode Album "A Broken Frame" mein eigen nannte. Aber im Laufe von 7 Umzügen und 3 langjährigen Beziehung scheint es irgendwo verloren gegangen zu sein.

The LP has disappeared, but two CDs are still there. And one, "Some Great Rewards", I must have listened to hundreds of times over the years.
Die LP ist zwar verschwunden, aber zwei CDs sind immerhin noch da. Und die eine, "Some Great Rewards" habe ich im Laufe der Zeit wohl hunderte male gehört.
TTT2 - Blasphemous Rumours
A song I never tire of hearing and also one that still gets under my skin today. I ask myself to what extent this text has influenced me in my development and my faith. Probably very strongly.
Ein Song, den ich nicht müde werde zu hören und auch einer, der mir auch heute noch unter die Haut geht. Ich frage mich, inwiefern mich dieser Text in meiner Entwicklung und meinem Glauben beeinflusst hat. Wahrscheinlich sehr stark.
TTT3 - A Question Of Lust
A wonderful song. I love it. But to really feel it, you shouldn't listen to it on a smartphone or PC speaker, but treat the song to a good sound system, because it's definitely worth it and then it really unfolds its cloud of sound.
Ein wundervoller Song. Ich liebe ihn. Wobei, um ihn wirklich richtig zu fühlen sollte man ihn nicht auf einem Smartphone oder PC Lautsprecher anhören, sondern dem Song eine gutes Sound System gönnen, denn er ist es auf jeden Fall wert und dann entfaltet er seine Klangwolke erst so richtig.
