for today's #RockClassics, the # tag created by @uwelang, the #music lover on this chain, I want to remember one of the greatest voices we had, that sadly passed away, exactly 10 years ago.
Amy Winehouse, left this world on this sad day, 10 years ago.
I loved her voice, it had something from the 60s - 70s in it. I would have wished to listen to a duet between her and Janis Joplin, who passed away also at 27, from almost the same reasons.
Amy died intoxicated and had a very long history with substance abuse. A soul in pain searching for an escape pod.
We shall thank her for her work and hopefully that she found her peace.
