Hello everyone! :D As some of you know, @smi-le is a project and a place (Discord Server: https://discord.gg/nRm2CKp) to share, meet new people and receive proposals from authors who want to create an initiative and have nowhere to do it, but also it is a home to contests and activities. This is a server I became very fond of since its early stages and that I'm thankful I belong to.
Today I'm bringing to you the week 3 of a contest inspired and sponsored by this fun and awesome place, and also the reminder of week 3 of our Music Quiz server activity.
¡Hola a todos! :D Como algunos saben, @smi-le es un proyecto y un lugar (Servidor Discord: https://discord.gg/nRm2CKp) para compartir, conocer gente nueva y recibir propuestas de autores que quieren crear una iniciativa y no tienen donde hacerlo, pero también es una casa de concursos y actividades. Este es un servidor a que le tome cariño desde sus primeras etapas y al que estoy agradecida de pertenecer.
Hoy les traigo la semana 3 de un concurso inspirado y patrocinado por este lugar tan divertido y agradable, asi como tambien el recordatorio de nuestra semana 3 de la actividad Music Quiz en el servidor.
My Favorite Song Contest - Week 3
This is a weekly contest where I ask the participants to submitt their favorite song about an specific topic I will provide plus the reason why you choose this song.

In order to participate in the "My favorite Song" Contest you must do the following:
Post a YouTube or Spotify link to the song you chose to participate with in the comments section of this post.
Besides the link, you must also write the reason why you choose this song (an anecdote, story, feelings, etc.) the more you write the more chances you have to win.
The song must be about the following topic: A month (September, October, December, etc...)
You must leave your comment before 11:59 pm UTC of Friday May 14th.
Mention an user to invite him/her to partake in the contest.

Winners of Week 2:
Congratulations to @nioberojas, @phderoes and @luismedinatotal! I really digged these songs and loved how they expressed the relationship between the songs and the topic of death.
I found @nioberojas' song excellent because it invites us to submerge ourselves in our own negative emotions in order to accept them and come back to the surface mentally stronger and ready to move forward fighting against life's adversities. This song talks about suicide, one of the (perhaps saddest) facets of death, and in her commentary Noibe tells us her story in relation to this topic and how the song represented a great support for her and helped her to overcome, hoping that it will also help other people. Personally I was very moved and impacted by the power of this song.
@phderoes tells us a beautiful story that makes us reflect on death as part of life, emphasizing the phrase "the only thing left to do is to do good and say Amen", a phrase from which the song she shares with us was written, inspired by a human loss. In her comment, where she leaves us both versions of the song (salsa and ballad), she expresses very well how she associates each of them to the different personality aspects of their deceased loved ones. I think both versions are excellent, but I must say that my favorite is the ballad.
The song of @luismedinatotal shows us another kind of death: death in life or being dead inside. A parody at first sight funny but actually quite touching, which Luis explains through his story. I found the song very good, reading his comment made me remember that this is a reality that can happen to many of us without realizing it and it was also a little reminder that we must keep fighting even if we feel we are already dead in life.

¡Felicidades a @nioberojas, @phderoes y @luismedinatotal! Realmente me gustaron sus canciones y como ellos expresaron la relación entre estas y el tema de la muerte.
La canción de @nioberojas me pareció excelente porque nos invita a sumergirnos en nuestras propias emociones negativas para poder aceptarlas y volver a salir a la superficie mas fuertes mentalmente y listos para seguir adelante luchando contra las adversidades de la vida. Esta canción habla sobre el suicidio, una de las facetas (quizás mas tristes) de la muerte, y en su comentario Noibe nos cuenta su historia en relación a este tema y como la canción represento un gran apoyo para ella y la ayudo a superarse, esperando que también ayude a otras personas. Personalmente quede muy conmovida e impactada por el poder de esta canción.
@phderoes nos cuenta una hermosa historia que nos pone a reflexionar sobre la muerte como parte de la vida, haciendo hincapie en la frase "solo queda hacer el bien y decir Amén", frase a partir de la cual la cancion que nos comparte fue escrita, inspirada a partir de una perdida humana. En su comentario, donde nos deja ambas versiones de la cancion (la salsa y la balada), expresa muy bien como cada una las asocia a los distintos aspectos de personalidad de sus seres queridos fallecidos. Ambas versiones me parecen excelentes, pero debo decir que mi favorita es la balada.
La canción de @luismedinatotal nos muestra otro tipo de muerte: la muerte en vida. Una parodia a primera vista graciosa pero que en realidad es bastante conmovedora, cosa que Luis nos explica a traves de su historia. La cancion me parecio muy buena, leer el comentario me hizo recordar que esta es una realidad que nos puede llegar a pasar a muchos sin darnos cuenta y tambien fue un pequeño recordatorio de que debemos seguir luchando asi nos sintamos ya muertos en vida.
