The first proper day back in the office catching up with everything plus a funding deadline (of course) and setting up the process for another one for additional refuge accommodation in London.
Lots of fun conversation with our IT provider - my new computer had no sound and, it transpires when we had a meeting, no webcam or microphone. Hard to believe they do not yet come as standard!
Got away in time for the first meeting of my sewing group, in a neighbouring town, Market Harborough. There's a lovely Riverside walk from the rail station to the town. I visited two art windows where members of the sewing group display work in a shop window. It's organised through Harborough Art Cluster and takes place once or twice a year. In better times, there are also Open Studios and the sewing group organises an exhibition to coincide.
Lots of discussion about the new Constitution, quite funny, but passed in the end! This particular sewing group has always had a lovely culture, friendly, open, very loving in a way. I'm looking forward to its new incarnation.
