Hi Everyone,
I'm back with another Actifit Report and Update. It's been a busy week. My brother's wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) arrived. It's a big vehicle but it needs to be to fit his new wheelchair. The vehicle is a blue Ford Tourneo Family. We took it out to give it go. We went to buy ice-cream. Sadly, the vegan ice-cream machine was out of order. We will be giving it a spin again very soon. A trip to the cinema might be fun.
Economics 7-week Challenge Series
I have also been preparing for the Economics 7-week Challenge Series. The series will be ready to go in about a week. It should begin on Friday 12th August but this could vary depending on your time zone. The first challenge will be an Auction Challenge. It will follow a very similar format to last year's challenge. The second challenge will begin a few days after the first. As with the Buying and Selling Game, participants will have a window of 6 days to enter. For some games it will be an advantage to enter early and others it will be an advantage to enter later.

I posted twice since my previous Actifit Report and Update. The first post was the results post and video for the Buying and Selling contest. Altogether 9 people entered the contest. This was higher than expected. This a good sign with the Challenge Series just a week away. Maybe we can hit double digit participation for several of the challenges.
In the second post, I discussed woke ideology. Wokeism is a strange phenomenon that is attracting a lot of attention both positive and negative. "Left" media promotes the ideology and "Right" media criticises it and obsesses about the terminology. Both are drawing attention to it. However, it is unclear how many people support it as it means something different to different people. The post considers the more extreme examples of wokeism and how it's application results in reaching outcomes that are almost the opposite to its claimed intentions. The media are pushing the more extreme versions and the post explains why that is likely to be the case.
