My Actifit Report Card and Update: February 14 2021

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend. I was out and about doing some walking and a bit of grocery shopping. The weather has been up and down these past two weeks. We had a few really cold days and even quite a bit of snow. The snow melted away quickly as we had rain in the afternoon. Yesterday and today has been much warmer but there has been a few brief showers. We still have a little way to go before we reach spring. The days are becoming noticeably longer. It won't be long before I wake up to daylight. The weather can hinder outdoor physical activity. Working from home gives me more flexibility to go out when the weather improves.

Things are starting to get exciting in the cryptocurrency world. Bitcoin is slowly moving up to 50k price. Many other top ranking coins have made big gains and are heading to all time highs. Hive lagged behind for a while but is now making a solid move. The price has more than doubled over the past 2 weeks. In my opinion, Hive was and still is greatly undervalued compared with many other coins and tokens. It's great the price is moving in the right direction. I think the positive price movements are going to continue for a while longer. It would be nice if Hive can return as a top 100 ranked coin again.

I have started my second Buying and Selling Game Contest for this month. I am making up for missing the January contest. The same rules apply as usual. Buy goods in one town/city and sell in another. The buying price is provided but the selling price is not. Instead, a minimum, maximum, and mode price is given. My previous contest attracted 6 participants. Hopefully, this contest can attract more. The higher Hive price should give it a stronger draw.

In another post, I discussed needs, wants, and outputs. We all have needs and wants. Outputs are provided to meet these needs and wants. What are these outputs? How should these outputs be produced? Who should receive these outputs? Buyers, sellers, and authority play the biggest role in answering these questions. But in what proportion are their roles? Should one group have more influence than the others? Are there any other parties that should play a more significant role in production and distribution of outputs? All of the above are discussed in my post Needs, Wants, and Outputs.

That wraps up this week's Actifit Report and Update. Exciting times ahead. As a community we can all play a part in spreading information and awareness about Hive and it's many amazing Dapps, tribes and communities. HIVE ON!
