My Actifit Report Card and Update: September 21 2020

Hi Actifitters,

Actifit Report and Update time. I feel pretty happy with the extent of my activity over the past week. I have consistently achieved around 8,000 counts a day. You can see my numbers for the week in the thumbnail. I haven't done too much different, I have just been consistent. Almost daily walks down to the lake is the main driver of my counts. Yesterday was my shopping day. Therefore, I got the counts that way instead of from the lake walk.

I don't know for how much longer I will be able to consistently visit the lake. First of all, we will soon reach winter. I'm not sure how cold it'll get or if there will be other bad weather. Secondly, there is a possibility of another Covid-19 lockdown. Doctor Dooms Vallance and Whitty presented a very grime possible Covid scenario yesterday. The press have jumped on this scenario and portrayed it as a prediction. This makes a lockdown even more likely. I was predicting something like this might happen a few months back. I just hope the UK doesn't turn into Australia 2.0.

I have posted the results of the 'Buying and Selling' game contest 11. We only had two entries this time. @praticaleric won for the third time in a row. He seems to have a real knack for the game. The next contest will be in October.

In another post, I wrote socialism leading to fascism. There are several movements pushing socialist ideology in the names of social justice and equality. Many of these movements are pushing for Governments to take action and attempt to solve these problems. These movements have become very aggressive with protests and riots. They have verbally attacked people with different views. It appears many supporting these movements are becoming the very thing they claim to be fighting against.

The media, entertainment, and even sports are openly supporting these socialist movements. This is giving these ideologies even greater reach. I discuss all of the above and much more in the post. The post is quite long. It is over 4,000 words and contains several tables and diagrams. You may want to bookmark it to read when you have more time.

STEEMeip_THUMB.jpg

It has been just over a year since the Economic Improvement Proposal (EIP) was implemented. I am writing a post to explore if the EIP has achieved its desired outcomes. The splitting of Steem into Steem and Hive complicates any assessment of success as the split has many ramifications on its own, which shouldn't be mixed with those of the EIP.

That wraps up this week's report and update. I wish everyone an awesome and as active week as possible.
