My Actifit Report Card and Update: August 29 2020

Hello Actifitters,

I've been quite busy since my previous Actifit Report and Update. I'll begin with my physical activity. I have managed to maintain a reasonably good level of activity despite the storms. We had two big storms come through in the past week. The first storm (Storm Francis), hit quite hard on Tuesday last week. We had heavy rain and strong winds. We were lucky enough not to experience any property damage from the storm. Just 20 miles away a town experienced some bad flooding.

I went down to the lake a couple of days after the storm to find that several trees had been damaged. Some of the branches had fallen off.

While I was out, I was caught in a brief shower. I hid under a bridge and took some photographs of the swan family. Sadly, they had lost another cygnet. They are down to just two now.

Once the rain had stopped I headed back home.

Yesterday, I returned to the lake with my mum, brother, sister, and Mango the dog. It was my mum's birthday. She wanted a trip to the lake to see the animals. The swans were back out again. They looked well. We also went past a field of cows. These cows were really friendly. They came straight up to the fence to say 'hello'. They also licked me with their massive tongues. I took a few pictures of them.

I always feel a little sad to see cows as I know they most likely do not have a good fate.

Content Update

Buy_Sell_C10_Thumb_RESULTS.jpg

I posted the results of the Buying and Selling Game Contest 10. This time I had 7 entries, that is the most since I restarted the contest. It's good that it is starting to pick up. I will have another contest in September.

Environ_PSM_Thumb.jpg

I continued with the 'Prevent, solve, or manage' series with a post about the environment. The environment is important because it affects everyone. Humans shape the environment for their needs but often cause damage as well. The post discusses how we are causing damage to the environment as well as how we can use the 'prevent, solve, or manage' approach to stop or reduce the damage we are causing. The post also discusses adapting to environmental changes that occur naturally.

My CBA Udemy Course

CBA_COVER_NEW.jpg

I have just launched my CBA Udemy Course. It took me about 2 months to prepare but it's ready. The course contains over 10 hours of video and includes dozens of handouts and multiple-choice questions. The course is priced at Tier 1 prices. I plan to give it tokens to reduce the price further. Udemy also frequently provides the course at half price.

That wraps up today's report and update. I hope everyone has an awesome and active weekend.
