My Actifit Report Card and Steemit Censorship: June 29 2020

Hi Everyone,

It's Actifit time again. This time it has been less than a week. I have 2 reasons for this post. Reason 1, I had a very good activity count yesterday. I walked all the way to the High Street to get shopping from the big supermarket. It has been months since I made that trip. This time round, I wore my Mandalorian 'the child' face mask. It's quite tough breathing with that on. My second reason for posting is because of what happened to my content on Steem.

My Steem Content

It all started just over a week ago with my third anniversary post on Hive/Steem. I posted this post on both Hive and Steem blockchains because it is relevant to both. The post also marked the end of my full power down on Steem. My emotions were mixed. I was excited about my future on Hive but sad to say good bye to Steem; it has been quite a journey.

The post performed well on Hive with a good payout and many nice comments. It didn't perform so well on Steem as most of my followers are on Hive. A few days after I posted, it was removed from Steemit and from my channel on Steempeak. I was appalled as the post was relevant to both platforms. Even if it wasn't, it should not have been removed.

I left a comment on a daily Steemit post demanding that my post be restored. Steemit's response was a downvote. I responded the next day with another comment regarding my complaint. Steemit responded with another downvote. The next day, I left another comment. It was met with yet another downvote. I also looked at several other comments from other people. These comments were mostly just links to diary game posts. Many of them were asking or begging for upvotes on 5 or 6 day old posts. I told a few of them about Hive and that they could earn more on Hive. Some of them seemed interested. The next day, I did the same as well a copy'n'paste of my previous complaint, which was met, as usual, with a downvote. Later that day, Steemit decided to remove all my content from Steemit and cleared my page on Steempeak. This also rendered my account unable to comment.

Steemit do not care about any of their users or their contributions. They do not care about private property as they have shown by stealing funds from people's accounts. They do not care about the community, as they control all the witnesses with their ninja mined stake.

Fundamentally, Steem is not a bad blockchain but Steemit is a malicious entity that cares only about power and money. We are very lucky to have Hive, otherwise all my hard work from 3 years would have been buried.

For anyone still on Steem, My message is simple. Leave now, nothing is safe on that platform. You can do more and earn more on Hive. Hive on, actifiters.
