My Actifit Report Card and Update: March 22 2020

Hi Everyone,

It feels like an eternity since my previous Actifit Report and Update. I have not been physically active over the past week. Instead, I have been self-isolating at home. I have made quick trips to little local grocery stores to get some essentials. The regular supermarkets are too crowded and many of them are running low anyway. The local stores still have some choice but are a little more expensive.

Yesterday I managed some exercise. I took Mango the dog to the forest. We managed to successfully keep away from others for about 45 minutes to exercise. I still ended up under 10,000 steps. I might need to jog round the garden or run up and down my stairs.

My content update

Since my previous report, Steem has split into Steem and Hive. Hive is a new decentralised blockchain, which does not include the Steemit Inc Ninja Mined Stake (SINMS). The split was inevitable as Justin Sun (Steemit Owner) was not going to back down. The stalemate with witnesses was likely to last a long time and eventually Steemit would end up with total control. Now we have centralised Steem and decentralised Hive. The community and new users can choose which version they want to join.

I have stake in both Steem and Hive. I will be focusing on Hive but I will remain powered up on Steem. I will curate on both blockchains but will post to Hive. I believe my Actifit Reports will appear on both Steem and Hive for now.

Before the announcement of Hive, I wrote an open letter to Justin Sun. It was a last ditch effort to persuade him to rethink his position. I am sure he didn't read it. A few others read it but they knew it was too late. A few hours later Hive was announced.

I wrote another post a couple of hours before Hive went live. In that post, I announced my move to Hive. I also showed off some of my latest character creations. All these characters were wearing something Hive related (i.e. logos, bees, and Steemit flag badges). I often include characters wearing Steem apparel in my posts. It is another way of promoting the blockchain. Since, I will be spending more time on Hive as well as posting to Hive, it makes sense for my characters to wear Hive apparel.

What's next?

I have almost completed a post containing more new characters and clothes. However, the focus of this post will be the changes I have made to the branding of my channel and economics community. These have new cover images and avatars. I feel it is necessary to give my channel and community a look more relatable to Hive.

This is my first post since the Hive Hardfork. It should appear on both Steem and Hive blockchains, we will find out soon. That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update, I wish everyone a great week. Remember to stay safe, keep away from others and wash your hands after you have touched any surface.
